Just 10 days short of two years from conception to print. All three of us are totally thrilled with how the book looks and feels. And, we've all had such a wonderful, mostly stress free time producing it. Dealt with a little bit of stress these last few days as our publisher merged with another arm of Amazon just as we were finishing the process, sigh!
On Friday I actually reserved the Gallery at the Ojai Center for the Arts for my very first ever book reading/signing on Monday October 8th from 7 to 9:00 PM. With this step, I'm beginning a whole new chapter in my journey: at almost 78, my life is opening in ways I'd never dreamed it might. Here I am actually showing up to market/publicize this and the earlier books by becoming visible and starting (soon) to become a presence in the social media world. Soooo edgy and exciting!
We've been designing and printing promo postcards, flyers and little giveaway business card-sized cards that say Rest is a Sacred Act on the front and have info for all three books on the back. My fabulous design collaborators are doing such amazing things!
